Electron Capture
September 20, 2024
"Electron Capture" is an interactive 3D simulation where a single atom reacts to user input by 'escaping' when the mouse cursor approaches. The atom, composed of a nucleus and electron clouds, dynamically bounces in place, and its movement simulates a probabilistic quantum behavior. The atom's nucleus is represented as a charged sphere, and its electron clouds are particle systems that constantly orbit the nucleus. When the user moves the mouse closer to the atom, it reacts by moving away in real time. The visual metaphor is designed to provide an accessible way to explore atomic and quantum mechanics behavior through user interaction.
Particle Collision
September 17, 2024
"Particle Collision" is an interactive visualization that captures the dynamic dance of particles accelerating and decelerating in a loop, symbolizing the constant push and pull inherent in nature's forces. The simulation is set within a virtual particle accelerator, where two particles move in opposite directions, constantly speeding up until they reach a maximum velocity, then slowing down, only to accelerate again. This cyclical motion is enhanced by a slight wobble effect applied to the torus, synchronizing with the changing speed of the particles, adding a layer of visual depth and realism.
This piece invites viewers to contemplate the duality of motion, the balance between acceleration and deceleration, and the rhythmic cycles that define both microscopic particles and the broader universe.
Winding-Path
September 13, 2024
"Winding Path" is a dynamic visualization symbolizing the unpredictable and continuous journey of life. It features a 3D path that twists and turns in random directions, representing the winding and often unforeseen nature of our experiences. As the camera traverses this path, it never looks back, only moving forward into new and uncharted territories, mirroring life's relentless progression.
This piece invites viewers to reflect on their own journeys, with its unpredictable twists suggesting both the excitement and uncertainty inherent in moving forward without knowing what lies ahead.
Breathe
September 12, 2024
"Breathe" is an exploration of rhythm and flow in the natural world. The piece visualizes a sphere that expands and contracts in sync with its rotation, reflecting the process of breathing, while colors shift dynamically through the spectrum.
The grid background creates a sense of depth and perspective, making the scene feel like it's part of a larger space. As the sphere moves, it symbolizes the balance between order and chaos, with the steady rhythm of breath grounding it in reality.
Resonance
September 5, 2024
This piece delves into the beauty of harmonic resonance. Resonance is a phenomenon where waves naturally amplify when their frequencies align, creating a powerful and coherent pattern of constructive interference.
In this visualization, three perpendicular waves move through space, dynamically increasing in amplitude and frequency.
Projections
August 22, 2024
I create art inspired by physics, math, and nature. Projections from higher dimensions into lower ones fascinate me, as they reveal how perspective shapes our understanding.
In this rendering, I project a 4D tesseract into 3D space and rotate it, revealing how a 4D cube can appear differently depending on the angle from which it's perceived.
